JAMB Sets New Deadline for 2023 Direct Entry Sales of ePIN and Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has recently declared a fresh cutoff date for the sales of e-PINs and registration for 2023 Direct Entry applicants. As stated by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the sale of e-PINs will conclude on Saturday, May 26th, while the registration process for candidates who have acquired the e-PINs will come to an end on Tuesday, May 30th. The spokesperson further added that the registration period for the 2023 Direct Entry began in February and has been extended to accommodate all interested candidates.

In the meantime, JAMB has taken steps to broaden the registration areas in Lagos to accommodate a larger number of candidates before the revised closing date. JAMB emphasizes that all sincere prospective Direct Entry (DE) candidates who have not yet registered must ensure they complete their registration before the new deadline. The Board has announced that there will be no further extension beyond the specified date. Hence, candidates are strongly advised to register promptly to avoid missing out on the opportunity.

According to the spokesperson for JAMB, registration for Direct Entry has been mostly concluded in various locations, except for Lagos, where a few remaining candidates still need to complete their registration at the board’s offices. To address issues of overcrowding, the board has implemented a scheduling system where candidates are assigned specific days for their Direct Entry registration. This measure aims to ensure a smoother and more organized registration process for all candidates involved.

Additionally, the spokesperson mentioned that JAMB has authorized ETC/JKK center as registration access points to facilitate the registration of all eligible candidates in Lagos. Candidates in Lagos who are interested in Direct Entry are advised to either visit the JAMB office in Ikoyi for registration or proceed to ETC/JKK located on Ikorodu Road in Anthony. It is essential for candidates to complete their registration before the specified closing date.
