JAMB CAPS for 2023/2024 admission- Check and Accept Admission Status
The JAMB CAPS is now operational for the 2023/2024 admission process. Applicants can actively track their admission status and promptly identify if they have received an admission offer. Once an applicant receives an admission offer on the JAMB CAPS platform, they have the choice to either accept or decline the offer.
Educational institutions have commenced the process of uploading their Admission Lists onto the JAMB Portal. Consequently, we strongly recommend that candidates diligently observe their admission status on JAMB CAPS in order to promptly take the necessary actions.
Certain educational institutions might opt not to publish the roster of accepted candidates on their respective portals or physical notice boards. Consequently, for individuals who have submitted admission applications to such institutions, the sole means of ascertaining if they have been granted admission is by verifying their admission status on the JAMB CAPS platform.
How To Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Kindly follow these steps to check your admission status:
- Go to: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/EfacilityLogin and log in using your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
- Click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
- Choose ‘Access my CAPS’.
- Select ‘Admission Status’ to find out if you have received an admission offer.
- If you have been granted admission, you will receive a response displaying your Photo Image along with a congratulatory message for your admission offer.
- However, if you haven’t been offered admission yet, you will receive a response stating “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
If you are presented with an admission offer, you can proceed to either ACCEPT or REJECT the admission accordingly.
Candidates who have been successfully admitted are advised to promptly indicate their acceptance or rejection of the admission online. This is crucial to ensure the efficient processing of their admission.
It’s worth noting that candidates who receive admission offers should print their admission letters upon accepting the admission. These admission letters will likely be required during the clearance and registration process at the respective admitting institution.
Please be aware that if you’re using a mobile phone, you might not find the option to check your Admission Status on the CAPS platform. Many mobile users might only encounter a welcome message. To address this, it’s recommended to use the desktop mode on the Chrome browser. If you’re on a phone, simply access the Chrome options and select “Request Desktop Site” to view the complete page. This approach will ensure the entire page is displayed and accessible.
