JAMB UTME Subject Combination for Engineering, Environment & Technology (2026)

If you are applying for any course under this faculty, you are required to select the following UTME subject combination:

  • Use of English (compulsory)
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Physics

  • OSUSTECH requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and Physics or Mathematics.
  • FUTO accepts Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates (2026)

To qualify for admission into programs in Engineering, Environment, and Technology, candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Any of the following: Introduction to Agricultural Science, Materials and Workshop Process and Machining, Tractor Layout Power Unit Under Carriage, or Auto Electricity

Special Considerations:

  • ABU accepts five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any other subject.
  • ESUTECH requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language and all relevant subjects.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (2026)

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must have:

  • ‘A’ Level passes or equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.

Special Considerations:

  • Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FED-OYE EKITI) requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Other institutions may have additional Direct Entry requirements, fully outlined in the main brochure.
