JAMB Activates CAPS Portal for Seamless 2023/2024 Admission Process

Attention to all prospective candidates applying for admission into tertiary institutions for the 2023/2024 academic session: The JAMB CAPS (Central Admission Processing System) has been activated for the admission exercise. This signifies that candidates can now actively monitor their JAMB admission status and conveniently keep track of any offers they receive.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed the opening of its portal for institutions to upload the names of shortlisted applicants for the upcoming admission cycle. It is important to note that all admission procedures must adhere to the guidelines set by the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for proper approval.

To check your JAMB admission status on the JAMB CAPS (Central Admission Processing System), follow these steps:

1. Visit the JAMB official website: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility
2. Log in to your account using your registered email address and password. This will grant you access to your dashboard.
3. Look for the “Check Admission Status” option and click on it.
4. Click on “Access my CAPS” to proceed.
5. On the CAPS page, click on “Admission Status” to view your admission status.
   • If you have been offered admission, you will have the option to either accept or reject the admission.
   • If you haven’t been offered admission yet, you may see responses such as “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet” or “Admission in Progress.”
