2023 UTME: The CEO of Erisco Foods awarded a cash prize of N2.5 million to the best student
Dr. Eric Umeofia, the CEO and President of Erisco Foods Limited, has announced a generous cash reward of N2.5 million for Kamsiyochukwu Umeh, the top performer in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Umeh, the highest-scoring candidate of 2023, hails from Deeper Life High School, Mowe. With an impressive total score of 360 in the examination, her performance shines through in individual subjects, with 99 in Chemistry, 98 in Mathematics, 97 in Physics, and 66 in English.
During his conversation with The Punch’s correspondent on Friday, Umeofia expressed how deeply moved he was by the student’s interview published on Saturday.
Additionally, the President disclosed his plans to extend cash rewards not only to the student but also to the school administrator, the four subject teachers, and two other outstanding students from the same school.
Umeh has received a remarkable opportunity as the Anambra State Government has extended a scholarship offer to her. This scholarship entitles her to pursue any course of her preference at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. It is a wonderful opportunity for her academic journey.
